You will find some of the most beautiful Catholic Churches in West Texas and Southern New Mexico. These parishes are not only a place of beauty but are alive with faith and love. Queen of Peace Catholic Church in El Paso, Texas, is no exception.
Queen of Peace was established by Bishop Raymundo Joseph Peña in what the Church describes as a “leaky building on Festival Street.” The first Celebration of the Mass took place on 31 July 1982. It wasn’t long until regular parishioners helped purchase land to build the parish hall, rectory, and offices at their current site on Belvidere Street.
When you visit Queen of Peace, you are taken aback by the view of El Paso and Mexico. On a clear day, you almost think you could see the ends of the Earth.
I decided to visit El Paso and Queen of Piece to introduce everyone to this amazing parish. Below is my video tour:
